Okay, so I realize that 2012 officially started yesterday; however, I was still on "holiday" mode and decided to hold on to 2011 for just one more day. Today, Monday, January 2, 2012, I welcome 2012 with open arms!
Don't get too excited I will not start rattling off any New Year resolutions, instead I will say that 2012, is my year of anticipation and it will be a good year. I believe I will see prayers answered, miracles happen, restorations occur, and lives changed. Loved ones who have been away for a long time will return and those that are lost will find their way home. There is a sense deep in my soul that my family will rejoice beyond measure over the course of 2012, celebrating each extraordinary event recognizing the hand of God as it moves.
FAITH / LIFE / FAMILY / DREAMS / GOALS / ACCOMPLISHMENTS / CHALLENGES / JOYS / HEARTBREAK Defining moments that take life beyond ordinary.

BookSneeze Book Review - "No He Can't" Is A Definite Must!
I found this book to be more of a confirmation for those who are already aware of Barack Obama’s misgivings as well as a “the writing is on the wall” message for his supporters. Mr. McCullough does a good job of pointing out the unsuccessful track record of Barack Obama and his administration, neither adding nor detracting from fact. Mr. McCullough’s book provides clarity on the hot topics that have plagued the Obama Administration since day one. Overall, I found this book to be quite interesting.
One issue I did have was that I found Mr. McCullough’s writing style a bit, for the lack of a better word, challenging. I get the impression that he writes like he speaks, lots of information in a short amount of time. I found myself rereading some parts quite a bit; however, very glad I did because I didn’t want to miss anything.
I appreciate Mr. McCullough’s Christian viewpoint and applaud him for standing firm in his faith when writing this book. This is a must read for everyone. Everything written in this book has been reported on by the media; Mr. McCullough just fits the pieces together and, again, provides some clarity as to where these pieces fit in the state of our nation and our world today.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers, as part of their BookSneeze Book Review Blogger Program. I was not required to write a positive review. Book Review: "Max on Life" An Excellent Read!
This is the first book I have read by Max Lucado, and I must say that I will definitely look into reading more of his writings. Max Lucado's style is very straight-forward and concise, his words read like a simple conversation among friends and not those of an educated preacher trying to teach.
"Max on Life" touches on the questions that even the most seasoned, mature Christian ponders. Questions on subject such as:
~Abortion
~Afterlife
~Buddhism
~Christianity
~Contentment
~Debt
~Evil
~Faith
~Grief
~Habits
~Infidelity
~Jobs
~Love
~Money
~Poverty
~Purpose in life
~Racism
~Sexual Abuse
~Wealth
These are just a few examples of the topics covered, there are too many to list. Max Lucado provides direct answers and insights with a comforting and reassuring tone, never condemning or critical. He includes biblical scriptures to support his answers and leaves the reader with a sense of hope and understanding.
Every Christian should have a copy of this book in their library if not for their own use, then as a reference tool for helping others find insight and understanding to the issues of life.
